:mc_267-0: Armor Enchantments​



Before you start enchanting, take a moment to decide what kind of tools, weapons, or armor you wish to craft. Different items benefit from different enchantments!

Universal (All Armor Pieces)​


  • Blast Protection VII – Reduces explosion damage.
  • Fire Protection VII – Reduces fire and lava damage.
  • Kinetic Protection IV – Reduces damage from landing after gliding.
  • Projectile Protection VII – Reduces damage from arrows and projectiles.
  • Protection V – Reduces overall damage taken.
  • Wither Protection IV – Reduces damage from Wither effect and Wither Skulls.
  • Day Protection IV – 2× protection compared to vanilla Protection; only works during daytime (Overworld).
  • Night Protection IV – 2× protection compared to vanilla Protection; only works during nighttime (Overworld).
  • Nether Protection IV – 2× protection compared to vanilla Protection; only works in the Nether.
  • End Protection IV – 2× protection compared to vanilla Protection; only works in the End.
  • Thorns IV – Reflects damage back to attackers.
  • Venom Protection I – Grants resistance to negative effects.
  • Life+ V – Grants extra hearts.
  • Fury IV – Increases attack power and armor penetration.
  • Red Moon III – Increases attack damage but reduces armor; player also loses half a heart when hit (can be recovered by sleeping or dying).
  • Trail Enchantments I – Leaves a trail of particles when moving (cosmetic).
  • Arrow Trail Enchantments I – Leaves a trail of particles when arrows are shot (cosmetic).
  • Curse of Crank I – Hurts the wearer when not moving.

:mc_306-0: Helmet​


  • Seeker III – Highlights nearby items (4–12 blocks range depending on level).
  • Hero’s Crown I – Grants Hero of the Village effect but drains durability.
  • Illumination III – Lights up the area when the head is unobstructed.
  • Aqua Affinity V – Increases underwater mining speed.
  • Respiration VIII – Extends underwater breathing.
  • Night Vision I – Grants night vision at night.
  • Auto-Feed I – Automatically restores hunger every minute.
  • Bright Vision I – Grants permanent night vision.

:mc_307-0: Chestplate​


  • Creeper Alloy III – Causes an explosion when hit.
  • Builder Arms V – Extends building reach.
  • Fire Alloy III – Ignites attacking entities.
  • Rejuvenation V – Increases maximum health.
  • Ice Alloy III – Freezes attacking entities.
  • Darkness Alloy III – Inflicts Darkness effect on attackers.
  • Shulker Shell III – Negates projectile attacks when standing still.
  • Bulletproof I – 10% chance to block Shulker bullets.
  • Pickpocket I – Right-click villagers to steal picked-up items (not trade inventory).

  • Bunny Hop III – Jump higher.
  • Enderscape I – Randomly teleport (within 5 blocks) when hit.
  • Fast Swim I – Grants Dolphin’s Grace.
  • Swift Sneak VII – Increases sneaking speed.

:mc_309-0: Boots​


  • End Speed III – Increases speed in the End.
  • Feather Falling X – Greatly reduces fall damage.
  • Depth Strider III – Increases underwater movement.
  • Sand Speed III – Increases speed on sand.
  • Trial Runner I – Grants Trial Omen effect but drains durability.
  • Strafe I – Quick strafe when sprinting left/right.
  • Invisibility Cloak I – Become invisible when crouching.
  • Frost Walker VIII – Freezes water beneath your feet.
  • Lava Walker III – Allows walking on lava.
  • Leaping II – Increases jump height.
  • Soul Speed VII – Increases speed on Soul Sand.
  • Step Assist III – Step over blocks easily.
  • SkyWalk I – Enables flight over 4-block gaps.
  • Agility V – Increases overall movement speed.

:mc_442-0: Shield​


  • Crispbread III – Grants Saturation when equipped.
  • Hardened V – Adds extra armor.
  • Ominous Healing I – 60% chance to spawn a healing lingering potion when hit at low health (≤ 3.5 hearts).
  • Cleansing – Clears all effects but drains durability.

:mc_443-0: Elytra​


  • Airbag IV – Reduces crash damage when flying into walls.
  • Moonwalk III – Reduces gravity when equipped.


Think carefully about the material you're using — diamond, netherite, iron, or even leather — each has strengths and weaknesses that influence your enchanting strategy.

📜 Multiple Weapon Types​


(Swords, Maces, Tridents)

Tip: Always have a few enchantment books ready. Sometimes it's smarter to enchant books first, then combine them on an anvil to create the ultimate tool or armor piece.


  • Bane of Bosses V – Extra damage against boss mobs.
  • Bane of Raiders V – Extra damage against raid mobs.
  • Bane of Netherborn V – Extra damage against Nether mobs.
  • Bane of Endborn V – Extra damage against End mobs.
  • Infested Aspect II – Applies Infested effect.
  • Hunger Aspect II – Applies Hunger effect.
  • Wind Aspect II – Applies Wind-Charged effect.
  • Levitation Aspect II – Applies Levitation effect.
  • Poison Aspect II – Applies Poison effect.
  • Slowness Aspect II – Applies Slowness effect.
  • Weakness Aspect II – Applies Weakness effect.
  • Weaving Aspect II – Applies Weaving effect.
  • Wither Aspect II – Applies Wither effect.
  • Pacifier III – Chance to pacify hit mobs.

  • Bane of Arthropods X – Extra damage to arthropods.
  • Fear I – Delays Creeper explosions.
  • Fire Aspect IV – Sets targets on fire longer.
  • Swift Slash V – Increases attack speed.
  • Looting V – More drops from mobs.
  • Knockback X – Greatly increases knockback.
  • Sharpness VII – Increases melee damage.
  • Smite X – Extra damage to undead mobs.
  • Sweeping Edge X – Boosts sweep attack.
  • Poison Aspect IV – Poisons targets.
  • Critical III – Chance to deal armor-piercing damage.
  • Dimensional Hit V – Boosted damage in other dimensions.
  • Runic Despair V – Boosted damage in the End.
  • Tears of Asflors IV – Converts XP into extra damage.
  • Leech I – Heal upon hitting.
  • Boltbringer I – Summon lightning after a fall.
  • Scholar of Mobs III – Gain more XP from mobs.

🔨 Mace​


  • Wind Burst V – Wind-powered knockback.
  • Swift Slash V – Increases attack speed.
  • Breach V – Reduces enemy armor.
  • Density V – More damage based on blocks hit.
  • Striker II – Summons lightning; grants immunity to thunder damage.
  • Wind Propulsion III – Creates a blast sending you flying.

  • Blindness Splash I – Blindness cloud.
  • Glowing Splash I – Glowing cloud.

🎯 Bow Specific​


  • Flame V – Extended fire arrows.
  • Power VII – Stronger arrow damage.
  • Flare V – Firework explosion on impact.
  • Punch X – Massive knockback.
  • Echo Shot III – Creates echo effect.
  • Explosive Arrow III – Arrows explode on hit.
  • Accuracy Shot III – Straight-flying arrows.

🎯 Crossbow Specific​


  • Multishot III – Fires multiple arrows.
  • Piercing X – Arrows pierce multiple enemies.
  • Evoker’s Wrath I – Summons Evoker Fangs.
  • Sting I – Summons angry bees on hit.

🔱 Trident​


  • Riptide VIII – Launches you forward.
  • Impaling X – More damage to aquatic mobs.
  • Swift Slash V – Faster attacks.
  • Channeling V – Summons lightning during storms.
  • Loyalty VIII – Returns much faster.
  • Pufferfish I – Chance to spawn a pufferfish in water.
  • Ominous Rain I – Summons ominous projectiles.
  • Sea Breeze III – Pushes enemies back.
  • Switch I – Swaps places with hit entity.


Set a goal for your equipment! Are you aiming for maximum defense, high mining speed, or ultimate PvP power? Planning ahead will help you choose the best enchantments.


⚒️ Utility & Miscellaneous Enchantments​


(Applies to tools and sometimes weapons)

Before crafting or enchanting, check your current inventory and think about what you're missing. Are you low on durability? Need stronger weapons? Prepare accordingly.


  • Efficiency X – Faster mining/digging.
  • Fortune V – More block drops.
  • Crab Claw III – Extended block interaction range.
  • Luck of the Sea V – Better fishing loot.
  • Lure V – Faster fishing.
  • Mending V – Repairs with XP.
  • Quick Charge V – Faster crossbow reload.
  • Unbreaking X – Increased durability.
  • VeinMiner I – Mines connected ores instantly.
  • Auto-Smelt I – Auto-smelts ores.
  • MiningPlus I – Improved mining efficiency.
  • Timber I – Chop down entire trees.
  • Scyther III – Converts dirt to farmland in larger area.
  • Harvest III – Plant seeds in a large area.
  • Midas Touch I – Reduces durability loss.
  • Haste III – Applies Haste effect when held.
  • Scholar of Blocks III – Extra XP from mining.

🔮 Special Abilities & Unique Enchantments​


  • Gluttony V – Pulls items in from a radius (2–10 blocks).
  • Handyman I – Keeps repair cost low.
  • Sacrifice V – Repairs armor/tools when hit.
  • Pegasus I – Mounts fly up 30 blocks; dismount grants Slow Falling.
  • Curse of Hiding I – Makes hit entities invisible.
  • Curse of Reach I – Reduces interaction range.
  • Curse of Fragility I – Rapid durability loss.
  • Curse of Breeze I – Wind charges on attack.

Remember: enchanting is partly based on luck. Make sure you have backup gear and extra experience points in case you don’t get the perfect result the first time!

🔄 Size & Player Form Enchantments​


  • Oversize IV – Increases player size.
  • Dwarfed IV – Shrinks player size.

:mc_e_95: Dog Enchantments​


  • Ghost Spirit I – Wolf becomes nearly invincible but can’t attack.
  • Scent III – Wolves make nearby entities glow.
  • Fetch I – Wolves sometimes fetch loot.
  • Boar Spirit I – Infuses a wolf with boar powers.
  • Bear Spirit I – Infuses a wolf with bear powers.
  • Scorpion Spirit I – Infuses a wolf with scorpion powers.

🏷️ Set Exclusives and Incompatibilities​



Choose wisely! Some enchantments can't be combined on the same item, so plan your combinations before you enchant to avoid wasting levels and resources.

Main Armor​


You must pick only one of the following:


  • Life+ – Grants additional hearts.
  • Fury – Boosts damage.
  • Protection – Enhanced protection against all damage.

Protection cannot be combined with secondary protection enchantments.
Life+ and Fury can be combined with:


  • Venom Protection
  • Blast Protection
  • Projectile Protection
