How to Report a Player on Legacy-Network​

We appreciate your effort in keeping Legacy-Network a fair and fun place for everyone. If you encounter a rulebreaker, you can report them using the following methods:

1. Reporting In-Game with /report​

• Use /report to quickly flag a serious rule violation.
• You must have an account on the Legacy-Network website to follow up on your report.
• After submitting your report, a thread will be created for you where you can add evidence.
• If you use /report, you acknowledge the urgency of your request. Use this only if the situation cannot wait.

2. Reporting via the Discord Support System​

• Open a ticket in the HELP section of our Discord server.
• Provide the username of the player and relevant evidence.

3. Manually Creating a Player Report Thread​

• Go to the Support Section on the Legacy-Network website.
• Create a new thread and title it: Player Report: [Offender’s Name].
• Provide evidence and a clear description of the rule violation.

Report Rules​

Failing to comply with these rules may result in your report account being banned from the website and, in severe cases, punishment for your in-game account.

1.1 Falsified Evidence​

• Submitting fake evidence will result in a permanent ban from Legacy-Network.

1.2 Trolling​

• Reports are not for jokes or false accusations.
• Uploading irrelevant screenshots/videos or giving misleading timestamps will result in a ban.

1.3 Old Evidence​

• Reports with evidence older than 14 days will be denied.
• Reusing old evidence to punish the same player again is not allowed and will lead to consequences.

1.4 Repeating Reports​

• Do not repeatedly submit reports about the same player with the same evidence.
• If you wish to discuss a denied report, contact the moderator who reviewed it.

1.5 Cheating Clients​

• Evidence recorded while using illegal modifications will result in a ban for both your website account and in-game account.

1.6 Using Another Player’s Evidence​

• You must be the original owner of the evidence.
• Exceptions: If a player publicly shares a video showcasing their own rule-breaking, you may use it in your report.

Report Guidelines​

Video Evidence Requirements​

Needed for:

• Cheating
• Trolling
• Camping
• Exploiting (Win farming, kill farming, multi-accounting)
• Bug abuse

2.1 Recording Evidence​

• Use software like OBS, Bandicam, NVIDIA Instant Replay, or Medal.
• Windows users can use the built-in recording system (Windows + G).

2.2 Uploading Video Evidence​

• Upload to YouTube (Public/Unlisted) or a file-sharing service like Dropbox.
• Avoid copyrighted music in your videos, as YouTube may block them.

2.3 Video Requirements​

• All four corners of your screen must be visible.
• Video should be under 3 minutes (preferably shorter than 2 minutes).
• The reported player's username must be visible.
• No black boxes, blurring, or F1 mode.
• Must be recorded on Legacy-Network servers.

Screenshot Evidence Requirements​

Used for:

• Swearing
• Threatening
• Chat trolling
• Spamming
• Impersonation
• Scamming
• Advertising
• Inappropriate usernames/skins (also reportable via NameMC profile screenshot)

3.1 Taking a Screenshot​

• Use built-in screenshot functions in Minecraft or your device.
• Follow the official Minecraft guide for capturing screenshots.

3.2 Uploading Screenshot Evidence​

• Upload to Imgur or Gyazo and share the link in your report.

3.3 Screenshot Requirements​

• Chatbox must be open (except for skin/username reports).
• All four corners of your screen must be visible.
• Username and chat must be clearly readable.
• No black boxes, blurring, or drawing over the image.

4. Do Not Remove Your Evidence​

• Keep your videos and screenshots available for at least 1 month after a report is resolved.
• Deleting or setting evidence to private may result in the reported player’s punishment being undone.
• If storage is an issue, set videos to Unlisted or contact staff for alternatives.
